# Bullfrog Spas vs Aquatic AV

The clearest difference is rating: Aquatic AV at 3.0 against Bullfrog Spas's 1.6. Aquatic AV also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months). Bullfrog Spas's advantage is review sentiment (15% vs 0%) and ratings volume (58 vs 10). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aquatic AV holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bullfrog Spas has 58 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Bullfrog Spas's written reviews are positive against 0% of Aquatic AV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bullfrog Spas ships an update every 12 months, Aquatic AV every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
