# sofatutor vs Klett Lernen

The clearest difference is review sentiment: sofatutor at 81% against Klett Lernen's 25%. sofatutor also leads on ratings volume (138 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Klett Lernen's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. sofatutor sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Klett Lernen asks for nothing beyond the download.

Klett Lernen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: sofatutor has 138 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of sofatutor's written reviews are positive against 25% of Klett Lernen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

sofatutor ships an update monthly, Klett Lernen every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
