# EZ vs PlayLoad

The clearest difference is rating: EZ at 4.0 against PlayLoad's 2.4. EZ also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). PlayLoad's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (98 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayLoad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. EZ asks for nothing beyond the download.

EZ holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayLoad has 98 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EZ ships an update every 2 months, PlayLoad weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
