# Simple Math vs Math Speed Drill

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simple Math at every 12 months against Math Speed Drill's every 72 months. Simple Math also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). Math Speed Drill's advantage is review sentiment (87% vs 65%) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 40). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Math Speed Drill sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
