# Allow2Surf vs Weblock Browser

The clearest difference is rating: Weblock Browser at 4.4 against Allow2Surf's 3.5. Weblock Browser also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). Allow2Surf's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weblock Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Allow2Surf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Weblock Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weblock Browser has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Allow2Surf ships an update every 3 months, Weblock Browser every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
