# TG4+ vs BBC America

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TG4+ at 53% against BBC America's 5%. TG4+ also leads on rating (3.9 vs 1.8). BBC America's advantage is ratings volume (590 vs 19) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TG4+ holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BBC America has 590 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of TG4+'s written reviews are positive against 5% of BBC America's.

TG4+ ships an update every 2 months, BBC America monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
