# Xactimate vs CRDN Restoration

The clearest difference is rating: CRDN Restoration at 5.0 against Xactimate's 4.6. CRDN Restoration also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Xactimate's advantage is ratings volume (8.3K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CRDN Restoration holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xactimate has 8.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Xactimate ships an update fortnightly, CRDN Restoration monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
