# Xactimate vs Inspectagram

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Inspectagram at 94% against Xactimate's 50%. Inspectagram also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Xactimate's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inspectagram sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $119.99 per month. Xactimate asks for nothing beyond the download.

Xactimate holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xactimate has 8.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Xactimate's written reviews are positive against 94% of Inspectagram's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
