# Catalog Delivery vs PhotoNote

The clearest difference is ads: Catalog Delivery at none against PhotoNote's shown. Catalog Delivery also leads on iOS requirement (13.1 vs 17.0). PhotoNote's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Catalog Delivery sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PhotoNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Catalog Delivery ships an update every 3 months, PhotoNote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
