# AllergyMonitor vs Verily Me

The clearest difference is rating: Verily Me at 4.4 against AllergyMonitor's 1.0. Verily Me also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). AllergyMonitor's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AllergyMonitor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Verily Me asks for nothing beyond the download.

Verily Me holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Verily Me has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of AllergyMonitor's written reviews are positive against 50% of Verily Me's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AllergyMonitor ships an update every 2 months, Verily Me weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
