# MyThings vs 简学识字

The clearest difference is update cadence: 简学识字 at every 2 days against MyThings's monthly. 简学识字 also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyThings sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 简学识字 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyThings ships an update monthly, 简学识字 every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
