# MyThings vs Timbr Inventory

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timbr Inventory at every 10 days against MyThings's monthly. Timbr Inventory also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyThings sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Timbr Inventory sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyThings ships an update monthly, Timbr Inventory every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
