# Jotto! vs Canvas Run

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Jotto! at 100% against Canvas Run's 29%. Jotto! also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Canvas Run's advantage is ratings volume (33K vs 7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jotto! sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Canvas Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jotto! holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Canvas Run has 33K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Jotto!'s written reviews are positive against 29% of Canvas Run's.

Jotto! ships an update every 5 days, Canvas Run fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
