# WizNote vs Cloudreve

The clearest difference is rating: WizNote at 4.3 against Cloudreve's 3.8. WizNote also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 4) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). Cloudreve's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WizNote sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Cloudreve sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WizNote holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WizNote has 20 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of WizNote's written reviews are positive against 60% of Cloudreve's.

WizNote ships an update every 2 months, Cloudreve weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
