# Donatos Pizza vs Piada

The clearest difference is monetization model: Donatos Pizza at free against Piada's free with in-app purchases. Donatos Pizza also leads on ratings volume (117K vs 5.3K). Piada's advantage is review sentiment (26% vs 13%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Donatos Pizza against 4.8 for Piada. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Donatos Pizza has 117K ratings behind it against 5.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 13% of Donatos Pizza's written reviews are positive against 26% of Piada's.

Donatos Pizza ships an update every 5 weeks, Piada monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
