# JustConnect+ vs Instant Guard

The clearest difference is rating: JustConnect+ at 4.8 against Instant Guard's 3.4. JustConnect+ also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Instant Guard's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (60 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

JustConnect+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Guard has 60 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of JustConnect+'s written reviews are positive against 39% of Instant Guard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JustConnect+ ships an update every 7 months, Instant Guard every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
