# ITB Berlin vs Arival Event

The clearest difference is rating: ITB Berlin at 5.0 against Arival Event's 4.1. ITB Berlin also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Arival Event's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1) and review sentiment (60% vs 46%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ITB Berlin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arival Event has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of ITB Berlin's written reviews are positive against 60% of Arival Event's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ITB Berlin ships an update every 8 days, Arival Event every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
