# HDR vs Archixcam

The clearest difference is update cadence: Archixcam at every 6 weeks against HDR's every 4 months. HDR's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

HDR costs $1.99 and Archixcam $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HDR ships an update every 4 months, Archixcam every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
