# FaceFilm vs MORPH

The clearest difference is monetization model: FaceFilm at freemium against MORPH's subscription. FaceFilm also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 49%). MORPH's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaceFilm sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and MORPH sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MORPH holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8K and 4.9K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of FaceFilm's written reviews are positive against 49% of MORPH's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
