# CareFirst vs Pinkman Academy

The clearest difference is rating: Pinkman Academy at 3.0 against CareFirst's 1.1. CareFirst's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pinkman Academy holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CareFirst has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 1% and 0% positive.

CareFirst ships an update every 2 months, Pinkman Academy every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
