# Mars Miner 2 vs Gold Digger FRVR

The clearest difference is ads: Mars Miner 2 at none against Gold Digger FRVR's shown. Mars Miner 2 also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 37%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Gold Digger FRVR's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 75). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mars Miner 2 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Gold Digger FRVR sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gold Digger FRVR holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gold Digger FRVR has 1.5K ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Mars Miner 2's written reviews are positive against 37% of Gold Digger FRVR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mars Miner 2 ships an update fortnightly, Gold Digger FRVR every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
