# Scan to Note vs Continuous QR/barcode scanner

The clearest difference is rating: Continuous QR/barcode scanner at 5.0 against Scan to Note's 4.3. Continuous QR/barcode scanner also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Scan to Note's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (69% vs 50%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
