# Foldr vs Cloud Storage

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Foldr at none against Cloud Storage's 10. Foldr also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Cloud Storage's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloud Storage sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Foldr asks for nothing beyond the download.

Foldr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloud Storage has 1.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Foldr's written reviews are positive against 72% of Cloud Storage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Foldr ships an update every 3 months, Cloud Storage every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
