# Tuto.com vs Skillshare

The clearest difference is rating: Skillshare at 4.8 against Tuto.com's 4.2. Skillshare also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 5). Tuto.com's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (12 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillshare sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month. Tuto.com asks for nothing beyond the download.

Skillshare holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Tuto.com's written reviews are positive against 62% of Skillshare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tuto.com ships an update every 3 months, Skillshare every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
