# La Presse+ vs Le Devoir Virtuel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: La Presse+ at 90% against Le Devoir Virtuel's 50%. La Presse+ also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (67 vs 8). Le Devoir Virtuel's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Le Devoir Virtuel holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: La Presse+ has 67 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of La Presse+'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Le Devoir Virtuel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

La Presse+ ships an update monthly, Le Devoir Virtuel every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
