# SketchApp vs Astropad Studio Drawing Tablet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SketchApp at none against Astropad Studio Drawing Tablet's 3. SketchApp also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). Astropad Studio Drawing Tablet's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 20%) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 4). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astropad Studio Drawing Tablet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. SketchApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

SketchApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astropad Studio Drawing Tablet has 3.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of SketchApp's written reviews are positive against 46% of Astropad Studio Drawing Tablet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
