# SketchApp vs Prodrafts

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Prodrafts at 70% against SketchApp's 20%. Prodrafts also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 3). SketchApp's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prodrafts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. SketchApp asks for nothing beyond the download.

SketchApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prodrafts has 3.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of SketchApp's written reviews are positive against 70% of Prodrafts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SketchApp ships an update every 4 months, Prodrafts every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
