# Rallymeter Basic TSD vs PitNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: PitNotes at every 2 weeks against Rallymeter Basic TSD's every 6 weeks. Rallymeter Basic TSD's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rallymeter Basic TSD sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and PitNotes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rallymeter Basic TSD ships an update every 6 weeks, PitNotes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
