# Flight Bagg vs Pilot Logbook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flight Bagg at none against Pilot Logbook's 5. Flight Bagg also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.1). Pilot Logbook's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pilot Logbook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Flight Bagg asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flight Bagg holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pilot Logbook has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Flight Bagg ships an update every 3 months, Pilot Logbook every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
