# RAD Video vs DANCE LABS

The clearest difference is rating: RAD Video at 4.3 against DANCE LABS's 3.9. RAD Video also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). DANCE LABS's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 14%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RAD Video sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and DANCE LABS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RAD Video holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of RAD Video's written reviews are positive against 40% of DANCE LABS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RAD Video ships an update every 2 months, DANCE LABS every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
