# Centris.ca vs Hilo

The clearest difference is rating: Centris.ca at 4.9 against Hilo's 4.5. Centris.ca also leads on ratings volume (148 vs 6). Hilo's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 15%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Centris.ca holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Centris.ca has 148 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Centris.ca's written reviews are positive against 40% of Hilo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
