# Recognize vs AZ Currency Converter

The clearest difference is rating: AZ Currency Converter at 5.0 against Recognize's 1.7. Recognize's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (51 vs 7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Recognize sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AZ Currency Converter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AZ Currency Converter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recognize has 51 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
