# Yogurtland vs Cold Stone

Yogurtland and Cold Stone both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 58% of Yogurtland's written reviews are positive against 19% of Cold Stone's. Cold Stone's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Yogurtland against 4.7 for Cold Stone. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cold Stone has 23K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Yogurtland's written reviews are positive against 19% of Cold Stone's.

Yogurtland ships an update every 3 months, Cold Stone every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
