# IUP Mobile vs DU CrimsonConnect

The clearest difference is rating: DU CrimsonConnect at 4.1 against IUP Mobile's 2.1. DU CrimsonConnect also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (118 vs 19). IUP Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DU CrimsonConnect holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DU CrimsonConnect has 118 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of IUP Mobile's written reviews are positive against 25% of DU CrimsonConnect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IUP Mobile ships an update every 18 months, DU CrimsonConnect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
