# dotloop vs SmarterTrack Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SmarterTrack Mobile at 100% against dotloop's 45%. SmarterTrack Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). dotloop's advantage is ratings volume (70K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. dotloop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $31.99 per month. SmarterTrack Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

dotloop holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: dotloop has 70K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of dotloop's written reviews are positive against 100% of SmarterTrack Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
