# dotloop vs Revival Studios

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Revival Studios at none against dotloop's 2. Revival Studios also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). dotloop's advantage is ratings volume (70K vs 1) and chart position (#166 vs unranked). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. dotloop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $31.99 per month. Revival Studios asks for nothing beyond the download.

Revival Studios holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: dotloop has 70K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

dotloop ships an update every 2 months, Revival Studios monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
