# Amerigo File Manager vs MT Browser

The clearest difference is monetization model: Amerigo File Manager at free with in-app purchases against MT Browser's subscription. Amerigo File Manager also leads on ratings volume (72K vs 2.1K). MT Browser's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amerigo File Manager sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and MT Browser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
