# iLivestock vs ArcSite

The clearest difference is rating: ArcSite at 4.7 against iLivestock's 3.0. ArcSite also leads on ratings volume (9.2K vs 8) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). iLivestock's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 45%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iLivestock sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and ArcSite sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ArcSite holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ArcSite has 9.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of iLivestock's written reviews are positive against 45% of ArcSite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iLivestock ships an update fortnightly, ArcSite weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
