# My Apps vs MyGames Database

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: My Apps at none against MyGames Database's 3. My Apps also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (17.2 vs 26.0). MyGames Database's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 9). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyGames Database sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. My Apps asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyGames Database holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyGames Database has 1.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of My Apps's written reviews are positive against 70% of MyGames Database's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Apps ships an update every 3 months, MyGames Database every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
