# My Apps vs HappyMoods

My Apps and HappyMoods both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of My Apps's written reviews are positive against 29% of HappyMoods's. My Apps also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). HappyMoods's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 9) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for My Apps against 4.4 for HappyMoods. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HappyMoods has 11K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of My Apps's written reviews are positive against 29% of HappyMoods's.

My Apps ships an update every 3 months, HappyMoods every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
