# My Apps vs aSim

My Apps and aSim both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of My Apps's written reviews are positive against 58% of aSim's. My Apps also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). aSim's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (71 vs 9). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. aSim sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. My Apps asks for nothing beyond the download.

aSim holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: aSim has 71 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of My Apps's written reviews are positive against 58% of aSim's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Apps ships an update every 3 months, aSim every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
