# Final Guard vs Sparkman

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sparkman at none against Final Guard's 8. Sparkman also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (281 vs 8). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Final Guard sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Sparkman asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Final Guard against 4.6 for Sparkman. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sparkman has 281 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
