# 5 vs Aeries Teacher

The clearest difference is rating: Aeries Teacher at 1.9 against 5's 1.4. 5's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and ratings volume (6.7K vs 42). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aeries Teacher holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 5 has 6.7K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of 5's written reviews are positive against 0% of Aeries Teacher's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

5 ships an update monthly, Aeries Teacher every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
