# 5 vs SmileBud

The clearest difference is rating: SmileBud at 5.0 against 5's 1.4. 5's advantage is ratings volume (6.6K vs 2) and chart position (#165 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmileBud holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 5 has 6.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
