# Electromaps vs Zunder

The clearest difference is rating: Electromaps at 4.8 against Zunder's 3.7. Electromaps also leads on ratings volume (342 vs 3). Zunder's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (62% vs 30%). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Electromaps holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Electromaps has 342 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Electromaps's written reviews are positive against 62% of Zunder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Electromaps ships an update monthly, Zunder every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
