# Electromaps vs ElectricRoutes

The clearest difference is rating: Electromaps at 4.8 against ElectricRoutes's 1.0. Electromaps also leads on ratings volume (342 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). ElectricRoutes's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 30%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Electromaps holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Electromaps has 342 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Electromaps's written reviews are positive against 71% of ElectricRoutes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
