# NapCat vs calc318

The clearest difference is rating: calc318 at 5.0 against NapCat's 3.7. calc318 also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%). NapCat's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NapCat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and calc318 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
