# TriCamera vs PerfectCrop

The clearest difference is rating: PerfectCrop at 4.2 against TriCamera's 3.3. PerfectCrop also leads on ratings volume (198 vs 8). TriCamera's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 39%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TriCamera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PerfectCrop sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PerfectCrop holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PerfectCrop has 198 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of TriCamera's written reviews are positive against 39% of PerfectCrop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TriCamera ships an update every 2 weeks, PerfectCrop every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
