# TriCamera vs ReeHeld

The clearest difference is rating: ReeHeld at 4.3 against TriCamera's 3.3. ReeHeld also leads on ratings volume (448 vs 8). TriCamera's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (69% vs 55%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TriCamera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ReeHeld sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReeHeld holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ReeHeld has 448 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of TriCamera's written reviews are positive against 55% of ReeHeld's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TriCamera ships an update every 2 weeks, ReeHeld every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
