# RepeaterBook vs Lava Checklist

The clearest difference is rating: Lava Checklist at 5.0 against RepeaterBook's 4.2. Lava Checklist also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%). RepeaterBook's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (247 vs 12). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RepeaterBook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and Lava Checklist sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lava Checklist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RepeaterBook has 247 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.
